This website contains some of my works, descriptions of what I do and want to do. I strive to keep the two as the same.

I enjoy my work and get a lot of satisfaction from what I do. I can work alone, but enjoy working with others and I'm always amazed at what a team of focused, talented people can create.

When the workday is done and the deadlines are met - it's time to cut loose. I enjoy golf, tennis, video games and music to name a few. I am a former 'Pinball Wizard' and have been known to waste the odd Sunday with the PS2.

Artist

I enjoy being creative. I am passionate about music and love creating multimedia. Editing audio and video, compositing sound on image - the creative processes of making things come to life. I am devloping skills using Adobe PhotoShop CS and have taken a couple computer based courses on the subject.

Programmer

When the computer grabbed me I was spellbound. Like many people I couldn't get enough. Since writing my first batch file I have been enjoying the ability to create things for the screen. Whether it is a kids game on CD-ROM or a business application designed to assist a company in tracking data. I love making these things happen.

Family

I come from a large family of artists and techies. My Mother is an artist of many medias and the smell of oil paint is one of my first memories. My eldest brother Kevin is a photographer and computer guru. Kelly, the next youngest, is a drummer and high-end blacksmith. Kim, my only sister is also a drummer and keeps the rest of us in line. Then there is Ian - the poet and mask making genius has reinvented himself again and now runs a bakery in Gibsons BC. I am fifth in line and then we have Mark, who is heavily affected by CP. He is creating a TV show to interview all his favourite stars. My 13 year old daughter is a smart cookie who enjoys reading, writing, anime and music. We all share the same twisted sense of humour.

Sound

I'm not an accomplished musician, but I do enjoy creating music and editing sound.
On my PC I tend to use Acid Pro and/or Sound Forge. When I want to create something a little different I can turn to the MAC and use Soundtrack Pro, a great program for creating music using loops and samples.

I'm currently doing a lot of writing, reading and thinking. It doesn't pay the bills, but hey. I am in love and find myself writing poetry on an almost daily basis. I recommend it to anyone.
